I cannot speak highly enough of Downlight. We have used them for a number of different projects and they have always been absolutely brilliant, conscientious, reliable, friendly and just great to deal with. This week we were let down by our suppliers on a meter installation issue and were unexpectedly left without power. Downlight went above and beyond to do whatever they could to help, ensuring that we got the situation sorted out as quickly as possible. Their systems are also brilliant — there is always a person on the end of the phone, and communication is outstanding.

Lee came around and reviewed our requirements at our house which, up to that point, other companies wanted us to complete things online and send off photos. We received a competitive quote swiftly and the job was booked. Lee and the team turned up on time this morning and completed the work to a high standard, clean work and we have ended up with an EV charging point in our ideal location, which was not a straightforward job for them. Downlight Electrical came to my rescue after another local builder let me down, it was short notice but they got it done quickly and efficiently and also recommended Ben the tiler who completed the work and also did a superb job. Would definitely highly recommend both.

It has been great dealing with Charlie and Charlotte to get my commercial EICR inspection sorted for our industrial unit. They were organised and responsive in arranging the subsequent remedial work. I have had several bits of work completed by Lee at Downlight Electrical. We have had our consumer unit replaced, new extraction fan in the bathroom fitted, outdoor sockets installed front and back, additional sockets added indoors, hardwired ring doorbell and high level ring floodlight camera installed. All done with exceptional professionalism, all completed in a timely manner and all done at a very reasonable cost. Charlie is so polite when initially communicating and this continued when Lee took over to arrange carrying out the work. Always responsive and understanding. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough (which is why they are always my first response whenever anyone asks for an electrician!)
